Orienting Futures Project

I had the joy of working on the visual design for this powerful project by Permaqueer, a learning community grounded in ecological justice, decolonisation, and regenerative social change. Commissioned by Social Enterprise Australia and brought to life by the incredible team at Permaqueer, this project invites us to reimagine the futures we want to grow together. “From Collapse to Regeneration” is a series of conceptual illustrations created for the PermaQueer project, exploring the transition from collapsing systems toward regenerative futures. Using visual metaphors like hidden root networks, fractured towers, and collective bridges, the work highlights the deep, often unseen transformations happening both below and above the surface. Each scene contrasts rigid structures with organic landscapes, emphasizing the role of awareness, community, and technology in ecological and social renewal.
